Read it or Weep

OK, I know it’s been done to DEATH, but did you watch those Oscars? They were long, not very funny (sorry, I do really like Neil Patrick Harris, but all I can say is meh) and punctuated by some very good (and award broadcast redeeming) speeches – but no real spoilers. Every year I wonder why I watch them but will probably do the same again next year – but a plea to the Academy – sans Travolta, por favor!

Now it’s time to get excited about 2015 – I’m really looking forward to Macbeth with Marion Cotillard and Michael Fassbender, Tarantino’s latest, The Hateful Eight, and the post-apocalyptic Z for Zachariah, among many.
