The rain yesterday? It started off so soothing and pleasant, didn’t it? Then it went all crazy, angry sometime early in the afternoon… An odd weather day if you wanted to do something outside, but perfect for reading inside! Maybe you’d like some titles to replenish your “to be read” pile? Maybe you’d like to try one of these:
Desires of the Dead by Kimberly Derting
Children of the Street by Kwei Quartey
The Real Macaw by Donna Andrews
The Borrower by Rebecca Makkai
Castle Waiting, Volume 2 by Linda Medley
Poser by Claire Dederer
Supernaturally by Kiersten White
Where She Went by Gayle Forman
But perhaps the best news of the day? Tomorrow, on Tuesday the 16th, we’re giving away a glorious, final summer reading basket at the end of summer reading celebration!
Come to the Community Room any time between 2:30 and 3:30 pm, chat a book or two you’ve enjoyed reading over the summer, have a small snack, and enjoy yourself! We’ve left to be more like an open house, so don’t worry about being on time or leaving early -it’s all good! So… see you soon!
