Read it or Weep

October 16 is Dictionary Day named to honor the birthday of Noah Webster, considered the “Father of the American Dictionary.” Noah Webster was born on October 16, 1758. He began to write his dictionary when he was 43. It took him 27 years to finish it! Besides the English words in it, he  included  many unique Americanized words which was why this dictionary was so special. Thank you Noah Webster!
