Happy April 1st! I’m not going to play a trick or prank you today. I’m not sure I absolutely understand why embarrassing someone else in a fairly public way is considered a good joke, but I think it’s not so pleasant. I don’t want anyone doing it to me, so why would I do it to you? On the other hand, many of the schools around here are on Spring Break this week. I believe that makes for a positive Monday feeling, doesn’t it? Of course it might mean you don’t have as much time to read so I’ll keep it to four titles today and remind you that you can always use our Reader’s Request form!
The Strange Fate of Kitty Easton by Elizabeth Speller
The Death of Bees by Lisa O’Donnell
Nothing Gold Can Stay by Ron Rash
Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult
Now you have some reading ideas to keep you occupied after you’ve had a long day of springtime fun! Enjoy!
