Tuesday at the Movies

Working here at the library and ordering the DVDs, I tend to put a whole bunch of items on hold and then, naturally, never have time to watch them. This week I took home The AvengersThe Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Lola Versus and Headhunters and watched not a single one. But the glory of working here and being a card carrying library patron is that I (and you) can try again another time, anytime. Ahhh, one of the many pleasures of my library.

Now, onto the new week of DVD releases:

Take This Waltz: a movie directed by Sarah Polley about a happily married woman who falls for an artist.
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World: Steve Carell and Keira Knightley (strange combination anyone?) star in this end of the world drama/comedy.
Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection: Tyler  Perry’s latest Madea vehicle.
Crooked Arrows: a Native American lacrosse team plays in a prep school tournament.
Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter: based on the book of the same name, this is a paranormal twist on the Abe Lincoln story.
Great Museums: visit the world’s museums in this 7 disc award winning series.
Upstairs, Downstairs, Season 2: the latest season of the modern version of “Upstairs, Downstairs” that just may keep you occupied until Downton Abbey Season 3 comes out (in January…not soon enough!)

Happy Watching!
