Latest Additions

What happened? What happened to the best season of them all? It’s like we went from the worst August has to offer, with all that humid heat, to the middle of chilly December. No Fall? No way! I *like* October and November for that little nip in the air that tells you winter is coming. But the nip says “soon,” not “now!” Now is when you should be able to bundle up in a warm sweater and stand around outside looking at the colorful leaves falling from the trees… (Which leads to raking, which is a whole other thing but not currently up for discussion as it would spoil my current argument.) So what’s up with this wacky weather?

I checked and The Old Farmer’s Almanac has long range weather predictions, but no suggestions on how to change the weather. Hmpf. Well. There’s nothing to do about it I guess… While I begin my research on finding a mad scientist who can control the weather, would you like to see The Latest Additions to The Reading Room?
