So many advertisers and self-help gurus turn the New Year into an opportunity to make us all feel guilty about our lives and I am the first to admit that I am not immune to these siren calls. Would I like to improve a few things? Sure! And using the New Year as a starting point, a clean slate, is a very useful tool. But all that pressure can make us feel even worse and even backslide. Let’s not let that happen people! Let’s make this a journey, not a race.
