Have you ever returned a stack of books to the library, only to get a notice a few days later that you have an item overdue?  It has happened to all of us at some point.  I’ve found books under my car seats, under the bed, and behind other books on my bookshelf.  One place I don’t think my books have ended up though is in the wall.  This story out of Oregon tells the tale of a long overdue library book hidden in the wall of a home.

Moral of the story: next time you’re missing a library book, check your walls, especially if you’re in the middle of a renovation.

Here are a few items that we have hopefully recently returned:

fallen land

turner house

time of fog and fire

Happy reading!
