Did you know that in Cleveland we have a special October celebration called Octavofest? It’s a celebration of the book and paper arts and includes city wide displays, classes and events. We are participating this year by holding a class where you can create a simple, mini-biographical book using cardstock, photos, old magazines and your creativity. The class is Monday, October 19th at 6:30 p.m. If you’d like to join us, please register for the “My Bio Book” program online at Rocky River Public Library.
If you’d like to explore book making at home, the library has a number of inspiring books to get you started. Or check out all the other events taking place this month at Octavofest and honor the art of books!
