Happy National Read in the Bathtub day!
Well, it is a shame that this is not a holiday that is recognized by government offices, because it seems like one of the most fabulous of holidays!
Beth here! I’ll be delivering your Latest Additions from this day onward. Want to know a little about me? Okay, here you go. As you may have guessed, I’m one of the Adult Reference Librarians here at RRPL. I previously taught computer classes at RRPL. I enjoy reading fiction, short stories, and occasionally non-fiction. In my free time I enjoy baking pies, collecting vintage Pyrex dishes, and scouring the beaches of Lake Erie for beach glass. Enough about me, let’s get into the good stuff!
Here are some of the latest additions to The Reading Room (any of which would make an excellent companion for celebrating National Read in the Bathtub Day):
The Cure for Dreaming by Cat Winters
When the World was Young: A Novel by Elizabeth Gaffney
The Bishop’s Wife by Mette Ivie Harrison
Revival: A Novel by Stephen King
Eight Hundred Grapes by Laura Dave
I hope you find a title that is worthy of this special holiday!
—Beth
P.S. Please don’t harm any library books while celebrating National Read in the Bathtub Day! 🙂
