Are you ready for an exciting week of choices? This week not only are there books that have recently been added to The Reading Room but this week we’re also celebrating our Freedom to Read Freely! (Some may know this as Banned Books Week but I prefer the more positive phrase, don’t you?) To help you find your new favorite challenged book, you can check out books that have made any of these many lists: Banned & Challenged Classics, Frequently Challenged Books of the 21st Century, 100 Most Frequently Challenged Books by Decade, or maybe you’d like to stay current with something from 2013-2014? When you discover a title you’d like to read -or reread!- you can come into the library, up to the Reference Desk, and fill out a Freedom to Read Freely pledge! This becomes your entry slip for a random drawing to win-win-win! a bag of Erie Island coffee and mug!

Or how about these items from The Reading Room:
Among Others by Jo Walton
Abroad by Katie Crouch
The Johnstown Girls by Kathleen George
Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King
Amity by Micol Ostow

Enjoy!
