Pacific Rim – DVD and Blu-Ray: Guillermo del Toro’s latest sci-fi effort about monstrous creatures rising up from the sea and the humans who save mankind.
Kevin Hart – Let Me Explain – DVD and Blu-Ray: Comedian Kevin Hart performs to a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden.
A Hijacking – DVD: a Danish film about a hijacking by Somali pirates – perhaps compare/contrast with the American Captain Phillips?
Drug War – DVD: a tense Chinese thriller about a drug cartel boss arrested in a raid who is coerced into betraying his former accomplices as part of an undercover operation.
The March – DVD: a documentary about the original March of Washington which had its 50th anniversary this year.
Dirty Wars – DVD: Investigative reporter Jeremy Scahill traces the rise of the Joint Special Operations Command, the most secret fighting force in U.S. history.
Vikings, Season 1 – DVD: the History Channel’s epic series about the ancient world of the Vikings.
