imagesAs the year closes, we’re starting to see discussions of the best films of the year, including some Oscar predictions. The Academy shortlist for documentary films came out this week which reminded me to point out that we have a great documentary DVD collection here at RRPL, including Oscar winners from past years as well as some on the 2012 shortlist. Highlights from this year include How to Survive a Plague, The Invisible War, and This is Not a Film. See the complete 2012 Oscar shortlist here; some of the DVDs won’t come out until 2013, but rest assured that we’ll be ordering them, so keep checking.
