I know I sound like a broken record, mentioning the wacky weather over and over, but really? What’s up with all the rain? And then it’s super hot before it gets super cold? Who knew I would be looking outside this morning to see if my yard of dandelions had been knocked out by a killer frost? (Okay, I was actually hoping for that, but noooo. It’s freakishly cold with no side-benefit to me… oh, well…) On the other hand? Can we get any better reading weather? I think not! “It was a dark and stormy night,” is a classic opening line for a reason! It’s the perfect setting for reading lots and lots of books! (Too much of a stretch? It’s the best spin I can think of for not being grouchy about what’s going on outside… Here’s hoping I don’t have to come up with something else next week!) Maybe you’d like to add to your rainy weather reading with a book from the Latest Additions:

City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
The Book of Tomorrow by Cecelia Ahern
Swim Back to Me by Ann Packer
Wench by Dolen Perkins-Valdez
The Troubled Man by Henning Mankell
Tick Tock by James Patterson
Swept off Her Feet by Hester Browne
Bride’s House by Sandra Dallas
Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan

Plenty of choices, all in time for the rainy week ahead… Unless the weather forecasters are wrong? What will you hope for: rainy reading weather or a nice long look at the sun? Either way, enjoy!
