200 years ago today, Edgar Allan Poe was born and the literary world would never be the same. I’ll never forget reading Cask of the Amontillado and the sense of horror he was able to convey without ever shedding a drop of blood. Now is a great time to read some of his stories or poetry if you haven’t before. There is also more information about him at the Edgar Allan Poe Museum.
